This is probably old news to most, but I have recently installed an ADATA 120gb ssd, with win 7 operating system. The ssd has transformed my t60 it now boots up in 25 seconds and is much faster loading programs. This cost me £64 from e buyer, the best money I have ever spent.

Yes, it is amazing the wonders than a SSD can do for an older machine. My R60e is just as fast as my X220 when doing normal stuff.
