Which thinkpad should I choose?

I am thinking of purchasing a Lenovo laptop, I have never owned one before. Especially T series took my interest, but I am not sure which laptop should I get - the 430 or 440p.

With 440p I get:
- better processor
- better GPU
- less weight
- longer battery life

I can wait a few months until 440p release, but my question is: How priced will it be in comparison with 430? Will there be a wide range of prices as well, or is 440p going to be a higher priced option only, since 440 (old 430u) becomes a standard line? I have seen a lot of hate towards 440 series on the forum as well, but I don't care how it looks (and I get the impression it's the really most disliked thing about the laptop, though IMO it actually looks better). Moreover, is 440p as durable as 430? I am going to need a durable laptop that can withstand some beating.

I don't think waiting until 440p release and then deciding to buy a 430 is a viable option, because they might not sell them anymore. In addition, if there won't be 430 anymore and 440p turns out to cost too much and I will be stuck with an ultrabook... then I am screwed. On the other hand the choice might be forced on me, I need to get the laptop this year but there is no info whatsoever about the availablity of the 440p in Poland at all, not even saying about mainstream stores. Still, 440p looks better to me, but I am not sure of it. What are pros and cons of both laptops in comparison in your opinions? It might help me decide.

Seems like you are set on the T440P, if you think its too pricey at launch, you could always get a T430 used that is still under warranty.
