T510/T520 known issues

I'm looking to buy a used T510 or T520 w/1600x900 screen, FPR and webcam and was wondering if there are any known issues with certain models that I should be aware of, such as overheating, loud fan, keyboard flex, cracking sounds and so on.

Welcome to the forum!

I've owned several T510 and T520's. My current home machine is an HD+ T510. As far as the Core i5 models, no issues at all. They run quick, quiet & cool. They are quite solidly built and have nice keyboards, too.

Disclaimer: I do have two HD+/FPR/webcam units for sale at this moment in the forum marketplace!

Understood. Check eBay. Lately, complete T510 machines have been available for about $250 and up. The $400 T510 that I have listed is very well equipped. Just be sure you get the features you prefer; watch for screen resolution, graphics chipset, webcam/no webcam, Bluetooth or not, good battery, genuine AC adapter, etc.
