My new ThinkPad...T440s with FHD AHVA screen

Last weekend, my new T440s arrived - it has been great so far (the 14" FHD AHVA screen is the best part of it), I even already like the integrated Trackpoin-buttons (they can´t beat the dedicated buttons, but the Trackpoint experince is not crippeled and the TrackPoint is still very usable - I have deactivated the TouchPad in the BIOS, although the new TouchPad surface is very nice and smooth). Overall, it is really great - its very quiet and cool, the buld qulity is very good (much better than a T420 for example) and the screen is, as I mentioned, brilliant.

Nice pictures, your T440s looks great! I've been wondering about the integrated TrackPoint buttons - sounds like they're pretty good. Glad to hear that you like your T440s!

Having proper keyboard layout, dedicated trackpoint buttons and LED indicators it could be a perfect ThinkPad. I also prefer old black color design over this dark-silver or how it call color.

Have you checked the display does not suffer from image retention (persistent image) issue known for X220/X230 and Apple MacBooks ?

I can agree, the T440s unit that I tested was excellent in most regards as well. Only thing I don't like is the thin screen.
