T43 Bios Recovery

Hi everyone, just recently tried updating my bios to the patched version for T43 using a disc on boot. However, towards the end, the screen prompted that it was the same or older version of the bios and asked to press Y/N.
I pressed Y and nothing happened

So, I restarted manually and the screen did not come on at all. There is the 1 long beep, 2 short beeps after being powered on awhile.

Figured I broke my mobo doing this, but tried googling a fix to enter recovery mode anyways. Tried using this method http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.ph ... w=previous and so far is a no-go. That, or I am doing the steps wrong, or doing the boot breaker setup wrong. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer guidance!

-Also, it's strange but after the beeps, the Fn+PgUp light comes on (but only after the beeps).
