which motherboard(s) for T60 15" wide?

Got one that the charging circuit fried in and need to get it running to use in my 3rd grade classroom. So which MB options do I have? Is this a 15.4" unit? Only one I have ever had so I am fuzzy on it.

First: What is the specific model/type-number of the ThinkPad in question? (a seven digit/letter combination, e.g. 2007-QPG, that is printed on a label at the bottom).

Next: Did you have a look in the Hardware Maintenance Manual - ThinkPad T60, T60p 15.4-inch widescreen (type 6369, 6370, 6371, 6372, 8741, 8742, 8743, 8744)?

You will find a parts list here --> System service parts - ThinkPad T60, T60p Wide screen (type 6369, 6370, 6371, 6372, 8741, 8742, 8743, 8744) where misc. mobos are shown. You fill probably find more alternatives (not listed on the Lenovo site) by searching e.g. on this forum and/or eBay and/or elsewhere.

Hint: Try place a "WTB" (Want To Buy) in The Marketplace in this forum, if you want a known-to-be-good mobo. Another hint; have a look in the Lenovo (T60) Service and Support Training Vidoes.

That is a 15.4" unit, Intel graphics.

I'm fairly certain that the shell in question would take a T61/p board in the same (15.4") format...all depends on what you're intent on accomplishing.
