I am looking for 256 MB and I dont know which is the best place to buy it.Can anyone tell me which is the best place and how much should I afford to buy it or does anyone wants to sell 256 MB RAM ? Please update your profile with your location.
It's difficult to answer these type of "best place" questions if we don't know if you're in Raleigh-Durham or Riyadh!
Check eBay for 33L3070, which is the IBM part number for the memory you're seeking.
Regards,
James

I assume you need a 256mb module and not 2 x 128? I found one on ebay, it cost me $50 which seems to be the going rate. Ewiz.com also sells a new module for around $60 - you need the low density pc100 with 8 chips per side (not the cheaper 4 chips one). Be careful if you buy on ebay, sometimes sellers are very vague on the specs of the module they are selling, knowing full well older laptop users cant use the newer type of pc100.
T22, 512mb ram, 40Gb 5400rpm HD, Motorola b/g adapter.
