I would like to finally protect my drive with bitlocker. I have a T400 with a dualboot system with Windows 7 and Windows 8.
There are 2 things I would like to know:
1.
Can I safely enable bitlocker in Windows 8, without compromising Windows 7?
2.
Where should the Windows Protected Environment partition go?
When I try to enable bitlocker I get the message "You will no longer be able to use Windows Protected environment unless it is manually enabled and moved to the system drive". Well, I would like to preserve that feature.
I have read about it and that it would need a separate 300MB partition. But it is unclear of where exactly that must reside on my my harddisk. I have tried just decreasing my Windows 8 partition (see screenshot below), but that didn't work.
I am familiar with juggling the partitions around with the help of GParted, but I need to know of where exactly to place that 300MB.
Here is a picture from the current situation:

options
a) increase the "system reserve" to 300MB
b) place 300MB of unallocated space after the "system reserve"
c) something else?
So:
1. Can I enable bitlocker without compromising my dual boot system?
2. Where does the WPE partition go?
