Resure and Restore disks not working

Folks, I really don't mean to double post but this is a little problem. I was trying to build a new drive and after everything else failed I resorted to the R&R disks for a T43. The unit is has a 2668 motherboard and an SXGA LCD, when I try to use FACTORY restore disks I get the message that it is the wrong supplemental disk and the wrong disk 1. I've used these disks before many times and never had a problem, anyone have any thoughts? PS the machine boots fine with another good drive built for a T43 and these disks.

Some restore disks are so picky, even changing a disk to one of different capacity can can cause an image disk to reject the job.

Please explain what everything else is that failed.

Precip9, I started out trying to clone my OS from a T43 to this new drive using AEOMI and everything seemed to progress normally but it would not boot up, switched working to disk to ultrabay enclosurer and target to the laptop, same thing. Last resort was to start from scratch and just build with restore disks and they won't work either.

I think I'll give EASEUS todo cloning software a try and see if I have any better luck

Well folks that was very easy, Easeus todo made perfect clone. Tried sector to sector copy and it took about 5 seconds and that was a bust. Then I just used clone and it took about 45 minutes, count down timer is whacky but otherwise perfect results
