Updating Bios error

Am trying to update my bios as my Thinkpad lenovo R61i charger is plugged in it says plugged in but not charging. I have replaced the power cable so now trying to update the bios as been told it could be this.

So i download Version: 2.23-1.08 from here http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/default.page?
But i get this error Driver loading failed the utility cannot proceed.


My laptop is
Windows 7 64bit
Thinkpad Lenovo R61i model 7650-8tg
Bios Verson V1.03 (7pet16ww) date 2007-06-28

any help would be great
