I just heard on the BBC news that Galzer bought someone else's shares and owns up to 70% of Man United now. Some of the fans are really steamed...Glazer now owns a 57% share of the club after buying the 28.7% stake of Irish racing tycoons JP MacManus and John Magnier.

Interesting to compare the reaction to the Man United buyout to the reaction to the Lenovo sale... my question is: why weren't ThinkPad fans burning effigies at IBM headquarters in Aramonk???"We don't want Malcolm Glazer, we want a club run for the fans - and that is what we will do."
And former Red Devils manager Tommy Docherty added: "Manchester United's heart and soul has been sold today - it has changed for ever."
