External Monitor not working properly during boot up

#1 Post by backdoorman » Fri Oct 25, 2013 4:34 am

Hi!
My T60 is attached to docking station with external Samsung 940B Monitor through a DVI cable and during boot process it goes black. I have to push the power on/off button on monitor repeatedly to get visibility back all through the boot process and a couple of times after reaching desktop. I have tried altering the display boot device in BIOS several times but to no avail. Running XP on the machine still. What to do next?

In case it's bad that's the only symptom, works perfectly after reaching the desktop and after that. Only during boot, but very annoying. Showing the analog/digital window upper left and then goes black, just like there's a glitch in the signal.
