Access IBM missing in action

#1 Post by jwhpa » Fri May 13, 2005 8:29 pm

I received the T40 I bought on eBay today, but I'm unable to access "Access IBM". Unfortunately, I received no documentation with the machine. I logged into the IBM support site and upgraded the drivers today. One of the upgrades was "Access IBM," but I can't get it to run. I'm assuming to normally do so you only need to push the designated button.
Thanks for any suggestions,
JH

If you have installed Access IBM, it should appear in Start>All programs>Access IBM>Access IBM

As far as I know to make the Access IBM key work, you need to install Hotkey driver.

Did you load the software after you decompressed the file you downloaded? Start the downloaded file again, and notice where it's decompressed everthing (on my computer it's C:\DRIVERS\W2K\ACCONWLD), go there, and click on the setup file, which installs the software and drivers. If you didn't do this, you haven't finished the installation yet.
