X61 tablet, Windows 8

What is the current status with X61 tablets? Has anyone gotten either W8 or W8.1 to work?

I have W 8.1 on the nontablet X61s without any problems. But I seem to recall failure with the tablets.

I have users on the TabletPCReview forums, who are running 8.1 with no issues, they seem to have XGA models, I however have an SXGA model, and started having issues with my tablet after installation of 8.1, which are currently unresolved. I haven't seen anyone else duplicate this however.
