T430S Ericsson H5321gw issue

#1 Post by DrozD » Tue Nov 26, 2013 12:00 pm

Hi All,

Have some problems with my T430S and 3G modem Ericsson H5321gw...
Below more detail description of my issue.

I bought this modem and install to the my laptop, insert SIM-card and after that install all software from Lenovo System Update. Drivers was installed successfully and modem connect to the internet, but modem deactivated every 10-15 min and after that automatically turn on, it mean disappear/appear/disappear...

What I did to resolve this problem:

1. Reinstall drives with last firmware updates.
2. Try to use modem with unistalled power manager utility, reinstall this utility.
3. Deactivated field "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" in the device manager.
4. Change settings in all power plans in the windows power manager (I don't know how it will be in the english windows, I use russian. Start -> Control Panel -> ...) and in the lenovo power manager utility for PCI Express to disable and wireless to maximum performance.

After all these actions I have no any positive results, modem still disappear/appear/disappear......

Do you have any ideas how I can resolve my problem?

My configuration is Core i5, 16Gb RAM, SSD 120 Gb, Win 7 Pro

I don't think it is a similar issue to this one http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/X-Series-Th ... 071#M49816 but the same registry settings might apply for H5321gw driver as well. Basically try to disable "USB selective suspend" feature.
