WTB: "Lenovo" sticker for T430s (2353-2MU)

Hello.

I would like to buy one "lenovo" sticker for the bottom left corner of the lid on a ThinkPad T430s; both the metal letters and surface where they are glued (don't know if both parts are sell as a single item). I did not find its P/N on Lenovo's manuals.

edit: The replacement badge may be CRU 04Y1931, don't know if it will fit a T430s.

I don't think the chances are very high for you finding this sticker here on the Marketplace, but maybe you are lucky, or maybe will drop by and help you...

In the meantime, I suggest you have a look on eBay; that's where I guess it's easiest and fastest to find the widest selection of stickers. I Google'd around and found a high-resolution image of the lid of a T430s (here - click on the second image to see it in very high resolution), and I see the label you are looking for. So, I went to eBay, simply searched for "Lenovo sticker" and found these: Original Lenovo Sticker 5 x 35mm and Original Lenovo Sticker 5 x 35mm and Original Lenovo Sticker 5 x 41mm and Lenovo Logo badge 5mm x 41mm for ThinkPad laptop - are any of these the one you are looking for?

PS: If Googling the FRU you mention (04Y1931) I see on [Solution] Lenovo Logo or emblem replacement and ThinkPad logo or emblem fell off? what to do? that Lenovo might be willing to send you this for free!

First of all, thank you very much for your detailed answer. I really appreciate all the valuable advice you give on your post.

I opened a ticket with Lenovo for this laptop, whose warranty ends on 2015, last friday. I got a phone call from Lenovo today. They say that, as it is a physical damage, it is not covered under warranty so they will not replace this badge. Honestly, this answer is what I would expect from any business these days. They are here to get the money and not honouring the warranty. Sad but true, in my humble opinion. No surprises here.

Well, at least they confirmed that the CRU I mentioned on the first email (04Y1931) is the right part number for this sticker. Hope this information will be useful for other people that wants to fix their laptop emblems; this one is the right CRU at least for the T430s.

I did some research on eBay too, but there are too many stickers available. This badge must be the 5mm x 41mm one, but I am not really sure without a CRU. Will continue doing some research. I see there is a seller on Amazon that has the right CRU, but it is asking 30€ for this small sticker!

This one is not just a cosmetic fix, this weekend the broken badge hurt one of my fingers, but I want to have this machine in perfect conditions too. I have received this computer as a donation for the development of an operating system and I am responsible not only for using it as a development tool, I must care for it as this superb computer earns too.
