T400 Recovery Question

#1 Post by lpenner » Wed Dec 11, 2013 2:13 pm

Hello-

I have upgraded from a T00 to a T420.

I want to sell the T400 but would like to restore it to factory condition. However, the recovery partition is either gone or corrupted. The machine is out of warranty. I expect one option is to buy a set of disks off ebay and do a restore that. Are there other low cost options?

I just want to sell it so I can buy SWMBO a Christmas gift.

Thanks for any help.
Regards,
Larry

You can also post a WTB (want to buy) ad in the forum's marketplace, just state what OS you're looking for. Likely cheaper and safer than feebay.
