Motorola Razr V3m freezing and reseting

I have a Motorola Razr V3m and still use and like it and kept it clean and looks like new still. I got a 2GB MicroSD card for it and only replaced the battery once with another OEM battery. And please dont say just get rid of the old phone and buy a smart phone. I dont like big, smart touch screen phones and I dont even need internet on a phone. I just make calls and text sometimes, thats all. All the phone is doing is freezing during a text income or typing to send one, and will restart too. I took the phone completely apart and cleaned the small dust inside out "once a year thing like I do to my PCs" And put it back together and turned it on and seemed fine, Once in awail will still do the freezing and restarting. Not sure if its the software on it that does it or not. I moved alot of photos from the phone to the 2GB card yesterday, so dont know if that has something to do with it.

You can try clearing out your texts also.

Is there a factory reset on the phone? If so, put all your contacts on the SIM and reset it.

So I just activated my other Razr, same model and everything and it is starting to do the samething now. I just bought a brand new one offline, not activated yet. But I dont think its the phones, I have 2 doing the same problem now. Could the 3G service be shutting down soon? These phones run on the 3G. And as said I take care of my phones and are rarely ever used. My old ThinkPads even still run just fine from 92 to now. And I know the phones are old tech, but are good for what I do with them.
