Does anyone like the new TrackPoint UltraNav setup?

A colleague of mine got a new T431s with the new TrackPoint/UltraNav setup...and I think he is going to return it.
I got a chance to play with it a bit, and I understand why.
So, for all of the TrackPoint users out there---"those who do" use one hand with the TrackPoint, does anyone actually like this new setup?

I'm trying to figure this out too. I've heard they're clicky. I don't mind the integrated buttons, but one thing I've always liked about ThinkPads is the smooth buttons, which is unusual for most other makers. I stopped into Best Buy a few weeks ago just to see if they maybe had an Edge or something else with the new setup to try it out, but there was none to be found. I'd hate to drop $1,000+ on a new notebook, then not like the stick setup.

In another thread, someone reported that the clickpad is wobbly and feels cheap.
