This is an app that allows you to stream video files from your PC to an Iphone or Android device. You install the server side on the PC that has the video files and it performs real-time conversion of the video files as it streams to your phone or tablet.
The conversion process if pretty CPU intensive so I wanted to see if anyone who has this running on an X201 could provide feedback. The server side app for the PC is free and there is a free version of the phone/tablet app as well.
Any X201 owners here running Air Video HD?

Re: Any X201 owners here running Air Video HD?
i run Air Video on a VM hosted on one of my x200s laptops. you'll probably get the best performance if your video is already in mp4 format and not have to do the conversion. i occasionally use it to stream a movie or clip to my ipad.
what other questions do you have? it's a pretty sraightforward app and there's a minimum of tweaks you can do. i think they're trying to rewrite the app as it is somewhat old.
