FS: X61 Tablet SXGA+ $125
I have a couple of these, but will list this one first. It's model 7769-A67.
L7500(1.6GHz)
4GB RAM------------>Now 2GB RAM 2x1GB DIMMs
160GB 7200rpm HD------>No hard drive, caddy, or hard drive cover included.
12.1in 1400x1050 LCD
Intel X3100
Intel 802.11agn wireless(n-disabled)
Modem
1Gb Ethernet
Secure chip
Fingerprint reader
8c Li-Ion------------------>Has new aftermarket 8 cell battery
Windows Vista Business COA
Overall condition is good to very good. There are no chips or breaks in the casing anywhere. There are a couple of scratches and scuffs on the lid, but they aren't bad. Keyboard is like new with no shine, and palmrest is likewise in great shape. Lid latch works, but can be a bit finicky to close the lid when in non-tablet mode (closes perfectly in tablet mode). Stylus is included. Battery is a brand new aftermarket that works perfectly. Middleton BIOS is already installed.
The screen has two small bubbles-one just to right of center at the top, and another at left of center at the bottom. The screen also has a few marks that aren't visible when powered on. Screen brightness is probably an 7.5-8 on a 10 scale.
The system works perfectly with no issues. I have a few of these, and they must go as part of my cleaning out process for the new family addition.
Price is $125 shipped in the US only. No AC adapter is included-if you want one, add $15 to the price.

Re: FS: X61 Tablet SXGA+ $125
Oooh... I've been thinking about updating my X60s.
I've already got an extra hard drive, but I can't remember whether the X60 (non tablet) ultrabase I have fits the X61 Tablet -- I think it doesn't.
My only other concern is size and weight -- I've really gotten used to the smaller size/weight of the X60s. I also have an X41 Tablet -- I think the X61 Tablet is also similar in size/weight to the X41. Does that sound right?
The higher resolution screen would be a bonus too.
Do you know what the average battery life is? I'd be using it for school, which would need at least two hours, as the classroom I'm in now doesn't have access to power.
Thanks,
David

1. The non-tablet ultrabase unfortunately won't fit, and I don't have one for the tablet.dbowden wrote:Oooh... I've been thinking about updating my X60s.

2. It is similar to the X41 Tablet, but I don't have the specs handy.
3. That's the big draw to these-I wish they would make another 4:3 high resolution tablet.
4. You should be able to get at least 3-4 hours on a full charge, and maybe more if you play with the power settings. Using an SSD would slightly help.
Thanks-
Eric

Re: FS: X61 Tablet SXGA+ $125
Hi Eric,
Sorry for the delay -- I had to see whether my wife wanted the X60s as an upgrade to her old laptop -- she's still very attached to the old one, but did finally agree that the X60s is enough nicer to make the switch.
So -- we would like to purchase your X61T -- why don't you PM me and we'll figure out how to manage payment and other details?
Thanks!
David
