the basics:
ThinkPad T43p (2668-Q2U)
P M 780(2.26GHz)
1GB RAM....................now 2GB
100GB 7200rpm HD.......now 60GB/7200rpm
15in 1600x1200 LCD
128MB ATI FireGL V3200
CD-RW/DVD-R Multi-Burner
Intel 802.11abg wireless
Bluetooth/Modem
1Gb Ethernet
UltraNav
Sec Chip
FPR
9c Li-Ion................in "green"
WinXP Pro
Modded BIOS
A "loaded as-they-came" example of the classic ThinkPad range, needs nothing.
While not immaculate, it's a pretty clean unit - I'd give it a 8.5 on a 1-10 scale - that can be used "as is" or SATA-modded. If you're interested in latter, I can have that arranged and deliver a finished product at additional cost.
There is normal wear on the lid/bottom. some keyboard/palmrest shine and the tiniest (1.5mm - maybe) scratch on otherwise bright and flaw-free FlexView LCD.
PM or email me directly to tataslonATaol.com with any questions/concerns.

Re: FS/FT: hi-end T43p, 15" UXGA FlexView, clean, inexpensiv
Oho... this is a real loaded one! Great deal for it too. I recall someone posting about wanting the best of the best Thinkpads... someone needs to point that guy in this direction. For those playing the waiting game, this can be a moment to pounce.
Good luck with the sale.

Trying my hardest to collect Thinkpads, but college and being broke kinda gets in the way. However...
