Harddrive upgrade to 7200rpm (100gb)

#1 Post by Antioch » Sun May 15, 2005 3:28 pm

I'm thinking about putting a new HD in my T42 in a few months. I'm looking at putting the new Hitachi travelstar 7k100 in. 7200prm, 100gb =)

Anything I need to worry about, or should it work fine? I've never upgraded a notebook HD before.

Should work fine if that disk is available at that time :)

No, they're not on the market yet. Hitachi has begun production and I think DELL is beginning to use a few of them, so my guess is a month or 2. Hopefully before August
