WTB: 15" R60 chassis only

I noticed on my last teardown that my R60 magnesium chassis was broken on the left side near the VGA connector.
It's making the lid opening/closing feel a little loose.

All I would need is the magnesium part. I know from searching that there was an upgraded version for the same problem on a T60.
Was one ever made for a R60?

This is on a 15" 4:3 machine.

Yes, but this application isn't the best for it. JB and other metalized epoxies is best in compression, not really in partial tension.

I'd weld it if i thought i could get away with it. Yes, i'm aware of magnesium's properties.

Frankly, it's not worth messing with for the $10-15 it will cost to replace.

Yes, other than the break being in the rear of that area. The tie bar is a nice fix. I'll have to investigate if that's possible on the R60 if nothing turns up.
