Use Bluetooth to connect to a Wii Remote?

#1 Post by WillAdams » Thu Jan 30, 2014 6:51 pm

I want to use a Wii Remote as a pendant for controlling a CNC machine --- it seems to be connecting, but I'm not having any luck w/ doing anything.

Anyone ever tried anything of the sort? I connect to Nintendo-rvl-cnt-01, but the light on the controller just blinks constantly and I'm not getting any keypress response w/ GlovePie 0.28 or WiinRemote.

I was able to connect a PS3 controller via USB on my X61T for some gaming.
I had used MotionJoy for that, it worked ok. The initial learning curve is kinda steep...
I tried connecting it via bluetooth, but it would turn on my PS3 unit instead, but now thinking about it, I am not sure if I had a bluetooth module for it.

I do have a USB bluetooth for my X61T now, I can connect my mouse but not my phone like I could on the W700DS.
But I think it is because the bluetooth USB I have is an older BT.
