WTB Thinkpad with 1280x800 + screen

Looking for a think-pad with a resolution of 1280x800 or higher, mainly will be used for a bit of programming stuff so ideally need a bit of screen estate.

No preference on screen ratio, just a screen with a better resolution

I don't have a laptop to offer you, but:

For that purpose I would suggest not settling even for 1280x800. It's actually a rather low-end resolution. Go for at least 1440x900, more if you can.

Do you have any preference for screen size? 12"? 14"? 15"? Any preference for 4:3 or widescreen?

It's very difficult to narrow down all the options without knowing your budget. At least a ballpark estimate would be welcome.

Get an X200s with 1440x900. They are easy to find on eBay, many of them for under £250 shipped.
