Hey guys i did it and i got a Thinkpad x61
i got it off ebay in Australia for $61 from the pics its in good cond and it came with a docking station
i havnt got it in my hands yet as my sister in law is picking it up as it was a pickup only and i live too far away
The cpu is INTEL CORE 2 DUO T7100 @ 1.80 GHz and it has 3gig ram but the battery is dead

Re: Battery question for x61
Welcome to the forum.
There are two types of this: regular X61/X61s and X61-Tablet.
The tablets use different batteries from the regulars.

Plus there's another battery that will fit on the laptop-bottom in place of the dock.
But get your exact specifications first!
