How well does the T410s run on Ubuntu 12.04?

I'm planning to run GNU/Linux on this T410s (w/ integrated graphics) and no fingerprint reader.
I was wondering if 12.04 runs well out of box.
Has anyone done this yet? How did it go?

It does run well with 12.04. I have also used Lubuntu and Kubuntu with almost no tweaking required.

Thanks, it runs very smoothly on 12.04. I hope the next 14.04 LTS release will run just as smoothly.

I'm just curious, does your fan run all the time when you are connected to a power supply? I noticed that when I am running off the battery, the fan speed slows down by half and is less annoying. I also checked my temperature and the fan was wailing at modest ~40C on idle. There was a BIOS performance setting that allowed me to set it to "Balanced" which said that this setting would affect performance and fan noise on AC and battery. I set it to balanced and nothing has changed. I even updated to the recent BIOS.
