I will attempt to be short with this seeing most of us have seen and heard about the black screen and flashing cursor already.
System in question: ThinkPad T410, 2537 VF6, Windows XP Pro SP3, Samsung 250gig hard drive.
My situation is this: I did a primary partition restore and when I rebooted the system it came up with black screen and flashing cursor. Strange. So just for kicks I swapped drives with a second T410 and same thing, well did the same thing with my Dell Inspiron and it booted no problem.
Don’t understand, the partition backup is from the same T410. It worked once why not now.
Image was created with EaseUS ToDo Backup.
Moderator edit: Moved thread from (initially, incorrectly) being posted in the T4x-forum.
