Need XP OS for replacement hard drive in T43

The hard drive on my T43 died, but it came with an identical 60Gb drive housed in a caddy so it could be inserted in the optical drive slot and used as an external hard drive. I've removed this drive from its caddy and used it to replace the failed internal drive. I booted the T43 and some basic information appeared onscreen, so the drive works, but of course no operating system.

I need the original Windows XP OS plus IBM specific software that will return the T43 to its original factory settings. Can I get this from Lenovo? A few days ago I Googled and found a site listing these and similar items for sale, but now I can't find the site.

Any suggestions will be gratefully received.

I doubt that Lenovo still stocks anything T43-related, recovery media included, but here's a solution:
