Possible to use X220 IPS LCD on the X230?

hi! i currently have the X220 and i'm planning to buy the IPS

i'm also planning to get the X230 in a few months

would it be possible to use the IPS screen on the X230 as well?

yes they are interchangeable.

awesome. now i can upgrade my x220 to a better screen. then later on i can upgrade the screen w/ a better laptop. never happened to me before
