FOUND: T500, W500

Hello all. My T60 seems to be experiencing a few different issues as of late so I am looking to upgrade to either the T500 or W500.

Ideally a 1680x1050 or better 15.4" inch screen, decent battery, and at least 4GB RAM. There are quite a few on eBay that look tempting but thought I'd peruse the Buy/Sell community here before buying there to see what may be available. Budget is tight so I am looking for a sub-$150 machine. Thanks.

In my opinion, if you're looking for a well tested discrete model that hasn't been abused you'd be looking at about twice the price you're expecting to pay. If a low-end model with integrated graphics will suffice, then you may find something. If you're considering buying on ebay you should also understand that most laptops on ebay have little or no testing so you're risking getting one with problems or things like liquid spills, etc... they are usually tested to bios and nothing further. I can get these laptops when they first come into liquidation so I can cherrypick the best, but I pay a premium to get first pick and there is no way I could get one in that price range, but you may find a member who is selling their personal laptop or someone selling some company laptops.
