ThinkPad G40 keyboard keys not working

ThinkPad G40 keyboard keys not working

On my ThinkPad G40 the 3 keys not working at all are the GH" All the others work, Could the cable be almost unpluged? The Trackpoint works fine and GH surround it.

Nope.

Either a defective keyboard, or the cable. A partially unplugged cable would not behave in such a manner.

I took the keyboard out and it was pluged in, removed the GH key and seen their is coffe spilage under the keys and remember when I bought this off ebay a long time ago it looked like someone spilt coffe over it, I just orderd a used keyboard off ebay and will use this one for parts then. "NO drinks around PCs!"
