FRU of THINKPAD T20 ( HDD ) SCREEN cable to motherboard

Hi there,

does anybody now the FRU part number of the
internal THINKPAD T20 HDD to motherboard CABLE ?

I read through the T20 maintenance document [62p9631]
but can not find it.

You can't find it because it doesn't exist!

The HD plugs directly into an IDE connecter on the MB.

No cable.

many thanks for your reply.

We were discussing the issues of loose internal T20 cables
and related screen glitches.

In the maintenance manual there seems to be some cable that are connected to the motherboard.

I might be wrong.

I will open my T20 in the very soon but would like to have all parts ready..

Thanks for the link CF.

The problem here is that Ed incorrectly identified the DISPLAY cable as the HDD (hard disk drive) cable. I shall chastise him severely!

The display cable part number is 27L0519 for the T20 14.1" display.
