WTB - X31 Keyboard Part # 08K5073 (US)

Would also appreciate some advice on a good place to buy it online (apart from IBM)

any idea who makes this keyboard? is it NMB, Chicony, or ALPS?

i can't seem to find any info on this either and i really like the keyboard of my new X31 -- not so much because it is 'tight' but moreso because it doesn't seem to take on the sheen (i.e. shiny spots on the keys) of other IBM keyboard -- it would be great to know who makes these.

ps: if the original poster doesn't mind, perhaps this could now be moved into the X series forum?

Got mine a month ago from and eBay seller by the name of totalassetrecovery. It was somewhat pricey, but was brand new and I'm very happy with it.

well, i did some investigating on my own X31's keyboard. it turns out it was made in thailand. i wonder if the X31 has its own NMB keyboard? can any T series users with NMBs confirm any similarities with X31 keyboards with this part number?
