T430 with T440/p Intel AC7620 adapter?? Whitelisted?

Has anyone tried the T440 Intel AC7620 adapter in a T430? I bought a strait Intel 7620 adapter (non-Lenovo part number) awhile back not thinking about the whitelist and of course it did not work. Does the whitelist simply look for a Lenovo identifier or does it look specifically at the card?

On that note, has anyone created or modded a T430 bios/uEFI to remove the whitelist without having to reprogram the chip manually? Just curious.

The T440's NGFF/M.2 form factor card will not fit in a T430 ...

Got it, for some reason I was under the impression the T440p had both an NFGG/M.2 and a mini pci-e slot.
