Touchpad's been disabled...

#1 Post by newyorkpaulie » Mon May 05, 2014 5:30 am

I pressed some of my function keys looking for the one that puts the display to sleep and now my touchpad is disabled. It is still functioning 'cause I rebooted into Windows (from Linux) and here it is fine. Also, swapped out the HD for another one with a backup (same Linux OS) and it works fine. I ran the bios and the touchpad is still enabled there. What gives? Any fix for this. My last backup is missing some things I need. I know, I should backup more often.

Fn+F8 is combination for enabling/disabling touchpad and trackpoint.
