Got my X41 today but I got a problem

#1 Post by ipXpert » Thu May 19, 2005 12:34 am

I got my X41 today after waiting over a month and it has a big fat green pixel glow that is always the same color. It is just off center to the left and it is hard not to look at since it is brighter than the rest of the screen.

Since I just got it, what do I do?

Thanks,

Well I think you basically only haave two things you can do. When I first got my x 40 today I though I had a dead pixel (black) but it was dust, phew!

1. Send it back

or

2. Live with it.

Have you tried calling IBM/Lenovo see if they can like overnight you a new one or something? See what they say after you vent a little on them =).

Just curious, when did you order it?

try massaging the screen, with a lint free cloth, apply a nice amount of preassure but not enough to break the glass substrate lol
