T61 FN+F5 Problems

#1 Post by luke4010 » Tue May 13, 2014 9:13 pm

I know there have been MANY topics about this, but I was unable to find my exact problem. When I had my T60, it was set up where the physical switch in the front of the laptop would turn on/off WIFI and Bluetooth, and the FN+F5 combination would toggle only Bluetooth. I had no Lenovo hotkey software installed on that computer, either. On my freshly-installed copy of Windows 7 on my new T61, the switch does both WIFI and Bluetooth like it should, but the FN+F5 does nothing. How can I set it up like it was before on my T60?
Thanks,
Luke

Have you installed any of the ThinkVantage support (hotkey etc.) applications?

Yes, but that just makes it bring up a menu so I have to click to turn on/off WIFI or Bluetooth. It works, but I would like it how it was before. There is an option in the hotkey software to change what FN+F5 does but it only gives "Open this Menu" or "Turn on/off all wireless communications which is pointless because of the switch in the front of the laptop.
Thanks,
Luke
