any one know how to install linux without cdrom and floppy?

the only thing I have is a X31 and a flash drive.

try PXE (booting from ethernet card)

set up a PXE server on another computer and try to install linux from over the ethernet

Kinda old (well Jan 2004, I think) but should get you going. What distro are you trying to install?

For the record, boot from flashdrive and install over network also works nicely with Fedora / Redhat. Been there, done that :-)
