Is Thinkpad's fingerprint reader supported in Ubuntu?

#1 Post by Nickolai » Sun May 25, 2014 5:56 pm

I own a X200s, but I guess the question generalizes to other models as well.

How about a "James Bond"-style "swipe to boot and log in?"

I use my fingerprint with Linux Mint and Ubuntu in several of my Thinkpads, never had a problem so far. But you can't use it to turn on an X200s

Google for fingerprint-gui ;-)
