OPAL vs. eDrive (SSD)
OPAL vs. eDrive (SSD)
When looking at the specs of the new X1 Carbon in tabook.pdf, I see two types of SSD: the 180 GB SSD is "OPAL", while the 256 GB model is "eDrive". There are no such mentions for the 128 and 512 GB drives. Are "OPAL" and "eDrive" the manufacturers of said drives? Which one is better / faster / more reliable etc.? What are the 128 and 512 GB drives then?
