As stated, I am looking for a thinkpad equipped with UXGA IPS LCD - preferably T43p or T60p, other specs not that important.
Either in the U.S. (have family that will ship me the system) or Europe.

Re: LF: IPS UXGA Thinkpad System / A31p working MOBO
I have a T60 that I've upgraded with Hydis LED UXGA screen mod. I plan to turn it into a T61 frankenpad but may consider selling it as it is, or with the parts to do the frankenpad conversion.
This is by far the best IPS screen you can get with factory LED backlight and it was installed with a cable mod by RBS, so there is no modifications to the panel itself. This would be the perfect start for an ultimate frankenpad build, or would be quite nice to use as-is with discrete ATI graphics, x1400 if I'm not mistaken.
I do also have a nice A31p that I've been "on the fence" about selling. It's in great shape and works perfect, but the backlight is showing age. I've been planing on replacing it, but just don't use the machine much anymore, but the a31 was always my favorite thinkpad series. I love that it can run dual optical drives internal. I loved being able to copy discs with one click in my car.
