I have X230 on dock station which has one VGA and one displayport; and I have one monitor acer v223w( 1680 X 1050 recommended) and another monitor HP Compaq LA2405x (1920 X 1200 recommended), I connected X230 on dock through displayport to DVI to LA2405X and through VGA to v223w when closing lid of x230.
Resolution and display on LA2405x is fine. however, if I use 1680X1050 for the second monitor v223w, the display is not full, there is a black band I believe belong to LA2405x on the right side close to LA2405x. For example, when I move mouse pointer on the v223w, it can disappear within that black band and directly go to the LA2405x; I am feeling the whole display of v223w move to left for the distance of that black band. Any ideas of this? Thanks for help in advance

Re: problems of dual monitors on X230
Did you try 'autoadjust' on the one you connected by VGA?
