Boot into Safe Mode in Win 8 to restore old video driver

#1 Post by ttan98 » Wed Jun 18, 2014 1:30 am

Hi,

During the process of updating my windows 8 drivers and enhancements from Microsoft website, I was offered to update my video driver. I certainly did that on rebooting I could not see anything. Hence I need to restore my old driver.

I tried a few options suggested by various sites on power up, I depressed Shift +F8 function key, also tried win+X key no success of seeing anything on the screen. So far no success.

How do I restore my old video driver, by using the rescue win 8 cd disk supplied with my X230i which I do not have. Can anyone suggest other alternatives, give me some details where possible.

Thanks in advance.
Hi everyone
