Status light failure

I posted about this in the X61 area, but then discovered an absence of a post in any area that includes a fix.

The X61s laptop in question has been disassembled, and examined for obvious loose cables, cable damage, loose inverter module screw (which may include the ground return.)

The laptop is completely functional except for the lights. The Bluetooth light still works. I could swap parts, but before undertaking the effort, it would be nice to hear from someone who has solved his particular case.
