Hmmmm, I wouldn't say my recent 'down' years are to blame from Facebook. Even so I just stop feeding to the anger/sadness people post, I hide all the bad posts I see from FB. Yeah he made money but he has a great monopoly right now, I've already given up my rights to google and Microsoft, I've yet to be detained or stopped by the feds... I am definitely not going to go to Guantanamo Bay for searching about backpacks and pots.

My favorite was the US presidential election day, a lot of my friends on Facebook argued about politics and severed ties.
I laughed at the whole thing, most of us were all console gamers and we grew up from it. I can care less if a few friends are voting against my views. We weren't friends for that reason.

The best way to feel better is to get up and walk away from the computer. A lot of users feed only from Facebook or social sites... Which is somewhat silly, I can care less about what my neighbors think about me. but I do have to say I was VERY bored when the forums were unavailable last fall/winter when I had no book to read. Thats a different case however.

What's funny is how the US government sees it is suspicious for my generation to not have social media. Well, I think I've been listening to the wrong crowd. I am against the whole 'put the phone down and live your day' thing going on, I would not know how to get around in San Diego if I did!

The best social engineering so far was the Kony campaign, it even got me snagged a bit. Too bad I'm too lazy.

Been through the first paragraphs of the article but then my attention span snapped.
Whatever they did, unless it was faking the death of a relative or something like that, probably wasn't worth the uproar.

Meanwhile the ZDNet article is click bait with 20 trackers, and spreads malware with fake download ads on CNET.

The best part of Kony were the troll posts featuring Carl Weathers from the movie Predator.
