How to remove x31 power on password?

#1 Post by tom1337 » Thu Jul 10, 2014 2:05 am

I got a ThinkPad x31 from auction and it has a power on password. I have tried removing battery and cmos battery and then turned laptop on but this did not change anything.

I would like to know if there is way to remove power on password.

Thanks in advance.

Hey.

I tried that and my password is still there. I have read that if it wont go away after this then it must be supervisor password.
