X240 Proper Middle Click
Recently got my mitts on a new X240 and the one thing I can't figure out is configuring the Trackpoint "buttons". Searching hasn't shown anything promising, except that other people are having the same problem.
How do I get the Trackpoint's middleclick to emulate a classic mouse middleclick? I've looked around in the registry (on Win7) and I can't find anything. It's always been a quick setting on older Thinkpads but not this newer unit.

You can do this by using TPMiddle: http://users.v-lo.krakow.pl/~mwrobel/pr ... iddle.html

Re: X240 Proper Middle Click
Excellent. That fixes the clicking. Is there any way to get the classic scrolling, too?

Re: X240 Proper Middle Click
You mean the classical middle click scrolling? Should be functional as well with TPMiddle.
- 1x Short Press on a link in a browser for example = Normal Middle click
-1x Short click anywhere = Classical Middle Click Scrolling
- Holding the middle button depressed = Standard TrackPoint scrolling
