Looking for X230s model thinkpads with i5 or higher. Note that the X230s is very different from other X230 models so I'm not looking for those.

Previous: TransNote (right-handed), 701C, 560x, S30 i-Series, T40, T42p, T43, X60T, X200s, X301, X1 Carbon (1st Gen), X240, Helix (2nd Gen w/ Ultrabook Pro keyboard), X230s
Current: X201s, X240s, ThinkCentre M93p Tiny

Re: WTB: X230s
Its a model that was released in China only - it's the same as the x240s except with ivy bridge. Some sold on eBay in the last few months but it's super rare (not that the x240s isn't but I did manage to get one
)

Re: WTB: X230s
Probably because anything T430/T530/W430/W530/X230 and higher is already bad enough,
they only introduced the (Apple-imitation crapware) X230s in China, where it IMHO also should stay!
Reading the many negative comments, I'm not surprised!

Re: WTB: X230s
Having just read every comment on that thread I'd say it's a bunch of uninformed idiots spewing nonsense. Aluminum is NOT better than carbon fiber, and having taken an x240s apart I can tell you they don't use magnesium in the s models (the x240 does) but more carbon fiber instead.
Personally I have no issue using the keyboard (which on the x230s/x240s is perfectly fine) or the track point.
